Facing a couple of felony charges after a reported pursuit on an ATV on December 4, 2021, a Warrensburg man has a court proceeding scheduled.

A probable-cause statement says, a law-enforcement officer pursued an ATV traveling at a high rate of speed on a couple of different roadways. During a search of the suspect, the officer says he located $4,000 in U.S. currency in the defendant’s pants pocket; methamphetamine and cocaine inside a bag he was carrying; a digital scale; and unused plastic baggies.

Court documents say William Duane Meixner is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the second degree and possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

Meixner pleaded not guilty on December 6. A trial-setting hearing is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, at Johnson County Circuit Court.
