
Mark A. Green Sr., 70, of rural Marshall, MO, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held in Old Lamine Cemetery in Cooper County, MO. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society. Born June 15, 1951, in Blackwater, MO, he was the son of the late Calvin Lewis Green and Viola Christina Schuster Green Weekley. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. On April 16, 1977, in Marshall, he married Susan L. Wyrick who preceded him in death on June 1, 1991. He lived in Marshall most of his life, was a truck driver and of the Christian faith. He collected knives and guns and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include three children, Angela Green-Ford of Independence, MO, Mark A. Green Jr. of rural Marshall and Bobby Green (Breanna) of Independence; three grandchildren, Reh’a Green, Elijah Green and Annelyce Green; one great-grandson, Mauricio Green-Peele; five siblings, Carolyn Urias of Modesto, CA, Jan Smith (Don) of Tucson, AZ, Linda Gibson (Harry), Tina Nelson (Dean) of Marshall and Autumn Sunshine Johnson (Mundang) of Maud, TX; one aunt, Pam Green of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Stanley Green and one grandson, Jay Patton.
