Several items were put up for bid by the City of Sweet Springs during a silent auction earlier this month.
At the meeting of the Board of Aldermen this week, Mayor Franny Vaught announced the top bids that were placed from February 3-5.
According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, Mayor Vaught announced the top bids were: $700 from Tom Dotson for the Smith 100 air compressor; $1,800 from Robert Phillips for the 1975 C-60 dump truck; $500 from Ricky Taber for the YardSport golf cart; $150 from Tom Dotson for boat motors from a 1971 Chrysler and 1988 Evinrude; $500 from Chris Maggert for the western plow; and $5,100 from John Clevenger for the 1999 F-450 truck with a plow and salt/sander.
Aldermen approved all of the bids.
