Clint was born February 19, 1970, in Bellingham, Washington to Dennis Edward Snider and Gloria Ann Smith. He was raised in Texas and graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in Rowlett, Texas in 1988. On July 25, 1989, Clint married Marsha Blain in Rockwall, TX – the tiniest county in Texas!; together they had six children.
Clint always had a smiling, friendly presence. As a child, he spent many summers at his Mammaw & Pappaw’s lake house – fishing, swimming and lying on the deck watching the stars, and many deer seasons hunting with his Dad, Pappaw & other family members. He loved tinkering with computers, watching the Discovery channel, and any off-the-wall comedy, but nothing made him happier than spending time with his children and grandchildren. Clint coached little league baseball where his voice could be heard above all others. He loved quizzing them on their spelling skills and testing their ability to understand root words. He would joke with the kids and their friends, teasing them and assigning nicknames to many. “Cliff” was known to communicate in his fancy foreign language he created with thekids, especially in public. He had a great laugh, and an incredible grip when he held our hands, and he always made a point of telling all of us he loved us.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Snider, and children: Taryn Hilary (Eli Lee), Mason Edward, Zane Shannon (Nicole), Heath Caden (Bailey), Rhett Zachary (Lacey) and Lyric Alyssa; three grandchildren: Savannah Grace, Reagan Hilary, and Chessa Noelle Lee; ; his parents, Dennis and Rebecca Snider, Gloria Ann and Steve Smith; siblings: Angela Snider and Sam (Leecie) Snider, brother-in-law, Sam Blain Jr; and niece & nephew, Roslyn & Huck Snider; several aunts and uncles, and grandma Mercedes Gateley.
He had a special bond with Aunt Gale & Uncle Roger Morran, and our extended family – Steve, Sabie, Gavin & Adi Saxton and Tammy Umana.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Francis Snider; and father and mother-in-law, Samuel and Velma Blain.
