The Marshall City Council was asked to approve a resolution to authorize the release of easement located near South Lincoln Avenue and Watermill Road during its meeting on Tuesday, February 22.

City Attorney Josh Taylor explained what it’s about.

The council unanimously approved the resolution.

In other news, the council approved the second reading of an ordinance authorizing the Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works to execute a contract with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc., for the provision of engineering services related to wastewater collection system flow monitoring and hydraulic modeling. The contract price is $128,000.
