Several persons filed to run for county offices during the opening day of filing for the Tuesday, August 2, Primary Election in Saline County.

According to a news release, those who filed on Tuesday, February 22, include: Kile P. Guthrey Jr. – Democrat – Presiding Commissioner; Carrie L. Jarvis – Republican – County Clerk; Brittni Allison Burton – Republican – County Clerk; Jessica L. Baker – Republican – Recorder of Deeds; Amie Ragan-Brown – Republican – Recorder of Deeds; Becky Tebbenkamp Uhlich – Democrat – Circuit Clerk; Karlin M. Breshears – Republican – Auditor; Cindi A. Sims – Republican – Collector of Revenue; Page Bellamy – Democrat – Associate Circuit Judge Division 6; and Hugh C. Harvey – Democrat – Associate Circuit Judge Division 5.

Filing continues during regular business hours at the county clerk’s office through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
