A couple of bids were approved for the Carrollton Fire Department during the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, February 22.

City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell explained one bid was for SCBA equipment.

Bell said the cost will be about $169,000.

Also, Bell said the council approved a bid for the purchase of bunker gear for the fire department from Feld Fire Equipment, Inc., of Grain Valley, for $11,136.

In other news, the council approved the bid from MFA for the purchase of gasoline by the city from March 1, 2022, through February 28, 2023.
