An Endangered Silver Advisory has been issued for a Lafayette County resident.

A news release says the Higginsville Police Department has issued the advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred at 4 p.m. on Monday, February 28, at 901 A West 25th Terrace.

The missing adult is 88-year-old Guy R. Stanley- a white male, who is about 5-foot-8 and 108 pounds, with gray hair and hazel-colored eyes.

Stanley left a message for his niece to give him a call at 4 p.m. on Monday, February 28. Someone checked his residence at 11:30 p.m., and his vehicle was not there. Stanley is not known to leave the Higginsville area or be gone overnight.

Stanley, who has been diagnosed with dementia, is believed to be traveling in a silver 2002 Dodge Durango, bearing Missouri license plate RE5E0Z.

Anyone seeing the missing person or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 9-1-1 to contact the nearest law-enforcement agency or call the Higginsville Police Department at (660) 584-2104.
