MoDOT is scheduled to close various east and westbound lanes on U.S. Highway 50, between Highway 13 and County Road 1501 in Johnson County. The closures will run from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday – until Tuesday, August 16.
According to a press release, this project includes pavement repair, resurfacing and guardrail replacement.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
