The vaccination of Johnson County residents against COVID-19 rate crawled up a bit in the last two weeks.

According to an update from Johnson County Community Health Services, as of Friday, March 4, 35.3 percent of residents were fully vaccinated, and 39.7 percent of residents have initiated the vaccination process. Those numbers are up from 34.9 and 39.4 percent, respectively, on February 22.

The total number of tests to date is 81,549 PCR and 69,237 Antigen.

The seven-day positivity rate dropped from 13.4 percent to 5.7 percent for PCR tests only. The positivity rate is the percentage of positive cases out of the total number of tests done.
