Melvin Stymes, age 80, of Glasgow, died Thursday, March 3, at his residence.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Asbury Cemetery in Keytesville. Burial will follow at the cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Survivors include: sons, Darrell Symes, of Fayette, MO, and Duane (Sharon) Symes, of Battle Ground, WA; daughter, Alison (Rob) Parish, of Bellevue, WA; Sisters Wanda Neville, of Glasgow, MO, and Martha (Bill) Skinner, of Fayette, MO; and brother Fred Symes, of Raymore, MO; and seven grandchildren.
