
Charged with a felony for allegedly entering another person’s residence without permission on November 9, 2021, a 58-year-old Sedalia man is due in court.
According to a probable-cause statement, a woman called authorities and reported a man she did not know was inside her residence, exposed himself and inappropriately touched her. The alleged victim identified the man- who fled prior to the arrival of authorities- in a photo array.
According to court documents, Robert Lee Hartman is charged with a felony for burglary in the first degree and a misdemeanor for sexual misconduct. Bond originally was sat at $50,000 cash or surety. On November 24, the court amended bond to $25,000 cash or surety, and Hartman posted surety bond that day.
The case has been bound over to the trial division. Hartman, who pleaded not guilty on January 3, is scheduled for another hearing at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 7, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
