Marshall firefighters were toned out to a structure blaze on Monday, March 7.

According to a fire department spokesperson, the call came in at 12:37 a.m., and firemen arrived on the scene in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue five minutes later. They had the blaze under control at 12:51 a.m. and were back in quarters at 1:53 a.m.

The fire was confined to the basement and crawl space.

The structure suffered an estimated $6,500 in damage.

There were no injuries reported from the scene.
