Two additional COVID-19-related deaths were reported in Lafayette County, raising the county’s total to 107 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to officials at the Lafayette County Health Department, as of Monday, March 7, there were 23 persons hospitalized due to the virus.

The county’s positivity rate is 2.94 percent, per the CDC COVID Data Tracker.

As of Monday, the county’s fully vaccinated rate is 45.3 percent; and 52 percent of county residents have received at least one dose.
