The State Fair Community College Foundation recently received $50,000 from Citizens-Farmers Bank of Cole Camp for its Stronger Workforce, Greater Community capital campaign to help build the Olen Howard Workforce Innovation Center.
According to a press release, the Citizens-Farmers Bank of Cole Camp was chartered in 1929 when the Citizens Bank and the Farmers Bank in Cole Camp consolidated. Since that time, the Citizens-Farmers Bank has been locally owned and managed and remains serving the communities of Cole Camp, Stover and the surrounding areas.
Mary Treuner, SFCC Foundation executive director says, “The SFCC Foundation is very honored and thankful to receive this donation from Citizen-Farmers Bank of Cole Camp for our capital campaign. Having this support from a pillar of the Cole Camp community is very special, and I am pleased to say that SFCC will be recognizing this gift from the bank with the naming rights for the Precision Machining Lab storage room in the Olen Howard Workforce Innovation Center.”
