Steven Matthew Aragon, 62, of Marshall, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Steven was born on January 6, 1960 in Portsmouth, VA to Jesse and Leona Aragon. He received his honor graduate business degree from the Orange County business college in 1997, and served 6 years in the United States Navy. On December 26, 1981, he became a first time father of his oldest son who passed in 1985. In 1986 he had his son Matthew, the following year his son Nicholas was born, and then in 1989 he had his last son Ernest. He raised his sons, and brought in many to his loving family.  Steven worked in retail stores for many years including Casey’s and Wal-Mart in Marshall.

He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, strong hugs, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Jesse, two sisters, Cathy and Charolette, and son Michael.

He is survived by, his mother, Leona, his three children, Matthew, Nicholas, and Ernest, his two brothers and sister, Joe, Paul, and Shirley and his 10 grandkids, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
