Charged with alleged sex-related felonies involving a juvenile, a Boonville man has a court proceeding scheduled.

According to court documents, Eric Louis Reasons is charged with felonies for two counts of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy with a person less that 14 years old and child molestation in the third degree. Bond was reset from $250,000 to $50,000 cash or surety. A motion for further bond reduction was denied by the court on February 28.

Reasons’ case was bound over to the trial division, and he pleaded not guilty on January 24.

Reasons’ next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, March 14, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
