A 66-year-old Kansas man has been charged with a sex-related felony involving a minor in Saline County.

According to a probable-cause statement, during a forensic interview with Child Safe in April 2021, a child informed investigators she had been touched inappropriately by Lee Frederick Gustin. Further investigations revealed these incidents allegedly occurred over the span of four to five years.

When initially contacted by authorities in a phone interview in May 2021, Gustin denied allegations.

Court documents say Gustin has been charged with child molestation in the second degree – child less than 12-years-old. Bond is set at $50,000.

Gustin’s initial hearing is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
