A 67-year-old Odessa man was killed in a rollover traffic crash in Lafayette County on Tuesday, March 15.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as Larry Greenfield lost control of his southbound vehicle, which skidded, crossed the center line, ran off the left side of the roadway, impacted an embankment, overturned and struck a fence.

Greenfield, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene by assistant coroner, deputy Dale Cox, at 2:22 p.m.

The crash happened at 2:10 p.m. on Odessa Cemetery Road, just south of the South Outer Road.
