
A 53-year-old Knob Noster man was flown from the scene of a motorcycle crash in Johnson County on Wednesday, March 16.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as Robert Graff was delayed in observing an intersection causing him to abruptly apply the brakes on his northbound Harley Davidson. The motorcycle began to skid, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned onto its left side and ejected Graff.
Graff, who was not wearing a safety device, was flown by Life Flight Eagle helicopter to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened at 2:32 p.m. on Highway 13 at the Business 13 South Junction.
