
At approximately 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, the Marshall Police Department received information from Saline County E-911 concerning a report of multiple gunshots in the 600 block of South Odell Avenue.
A press release says Marshall Police officers responded to investigate, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Saline County Sheriff’s Office also responded to assist.
Upon Marshall Police officer’s arrival, they heard a disturbance inside a residence. Officers approached the residence, observed a man and woman in an altercation and the man had a rifle in his possession.
Officers were able to subdue the man who resisted arrest.
Officers transported two persons to the Saline County Justice Facility, where they will await formal charges from the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
