A 58-year-old Sedalia man charged with a felony for allegedly entering another person’s residence without permission on November 9, 2021, is due in court.

A probable-cause statement says a woman called authorities and reported a man she did not know was inside her residence, exposed himself and inappropriately touched her. The alleged victim identified the man- who fled prior to the arrival of authorities- in a photo array.

Court documents say Robert Lee Hartman is charged with a felony for burglary in the first degree and a misdemeanor for sexual misconduct. Bond originally was $50,000 cash or surety, but on November 24, the court amended bond to $25,000 cash or surety, and Hartman posted surety bond that day.

The case was bound over to the trial division. Hartman, who pleaded not guilty on January 3, is scheduled for another hearing at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 21, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
