Active COVID-19 cases continue to fall in Lafayette County, as health officials report a positivity rate of 1.83 percent.

According to officials at the Lafayette County Health Department, as of Monday, March 21, there were 16 active cases and 12 persons hospitalized due to the virus. No additional COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the past week.

The county’s fully vaccinated rate is 45.4 percent; and 52.1 percent of county residents have received at least one dose.
