Stella M. Wright, 97, of Marshall, MO, died Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Pastor Leslie Dority officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Pathways Hospice and Palliative Care, 14805 N. Born March 28, 1924, in Benton County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Dority and Etta Mae Rayl Dority. On February 3, 1945, she married Orval J. Wright who preceded her in death on May 27, 1995. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and worked for International Shoe Company. She was a member of Gill Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Larry O. Wright and wife Anita of Marshall; one daughter, Vickie L. Heilman and husband Raymond of Florissant, MO; two grandchildren, Aaron Wright and wife Sarah and Stacy Zika and husband Michael; five great-grandchildren, Addyson Wright, Ayden Wright, Sam Zika and wife Brittany, Dominick Zika and Sophia Zika; two great-great-grandchildren, Liam Zika and Vincent Zika; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Stella was preceded in death by eight brothers, William, Floyd, Noel, Earl, Jessie, Lloyd, Wilbert and Hazel Myrl Dority; and four sisters, Flossie Dority, Grace Fern Braden, Adeline Dority and Neva Long.
