
The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed a bill that would allow the Missouri Army National Guard to do a joint exercise with the Concordia Fire Protection District at Edwin A. Pape Lake during its meeting Monday, March 21.
City Administrator Dale Klussman says the board plans to approve the exercise as long as a Hold Harmless Clause or a change in insurance policy is made.
Klussman said the decision is pending until the Missouri Army National Guard or the Fire Protection District provides a change in policy.
In other news, Aldermen discussed bids for hay bales at Edwin A. Pape Lake and plan to approve the large bid in the next meeting.
