The vaccination of Johnson County residents against COVID-19 rate inched up a bit in the last two weeks.

According to an update from Johnson County Community Health Services, as of Monday, March 21, 35.5 percent of residents were fully vaccinated, and 39.9 percent of residents have initiated the vaccination process. Those numbers are up from 35.3 and 39.7 percent, respectively, on March 4.

The total number of tests to date is 82,635 PCR and 70,609 Antigen.

The seven-day positivity rate dropped from 5.7 percent to 1.6 percent for PCR tests only. The positivity rate is the percentage of positive cases out of the total number of tests done.
