The members of the Marshall Community Chorus are excited to announce their spring concert is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Marshall.

A news release says the theme of the concert is appropriately titled ‘Tis Spring! and will feature a number of choral works that revolve around the idea of spring.

The 34-voice choir, under the direction of Ron Sayer and accompanied by Derik Wittman, will present a number of selections- both familiar and new.

After a number of months of cold, wet, snowy weather, it’s time to sing about flowers, birds, the joy of being outdoors and everything associated with spring.

The concert is free and open to the public and is appropriate for audiences of all ages.

Covenant Presbyterian Church is located on the corner of East Yerby Street and South Lincoln Avenue.
