The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed updates for the annual “Run for the Wall” event in Concordia during its meeting on Monday, March 21.
The board initially thought a hold harmless agreement was necessary to host the event within the city limits, but found out that it isn’t necessary.
City Administrator Dale Klussman says the city would be insured without the need for a hold harmless agreement.
The board also authorized a bid for tree trimming at Southside Park. Klussman says removing the trees will help prevent future outages.
The “Run for the Wall” stop in Concordia is scheduled for May 23.
