
On Thursday, March 24, the East Central Drug Task Force, Cooper County Sheriff’s Office, Howard County Sheriff’s Office, Boonville Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol executed five narcotic search warrants in Cooper and Howard Counties as a result of several investigations.
According to a press release, as a result of these searches, officers seized a large amount of methamphetamine, a large amount of marijuana, numerous controlled pills, drug paraphernalia and firearms. Five individuals were taken into custody and placed on 24-hour hold in Cooper County. Formal charges have been filed:
- Amanda Thomas, of Boonville, and Robert Sweet, of Columbia, are both facing charges for Delivery of Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child Creating Substantial Risk – no sexual contact. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety each.
- Amanda Naumann, of Boonville, is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child Creating Substantial Risk – No Sexual Contact. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
- Devyn Ivy, of Boonville – Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
- Nathan Hazlett, of Bunceton, Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of Weapon-Subsection 11-Possess Weapon and a Felony Controlled Substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
All subjects have pending court appearances at Cooper County Circuit Court.
