Two area men charged with drug-related felonies in Howard County are scheduled to be arraigned.

A probable-cause statement says on March 24, the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, East Central Missouri Drug Task Force, Fayette Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol executed two narcotics search warrants in the 200 block of County Road 342 and the 1000 block of County Road 467 as a result of a narcotics investigation.

Authorities say they seized a large amount of methamphetamine, a large amount of marijuana, numerous controlled pills and drug paraphernalia. Three persons were arrested.

Benjamin Griffin, of New Franklin, is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs, delivery of a controlled substance and four counts of possession of a controlled substance, as well as a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond is set at no bond.

Jeffrey Holman, of Boonville, is charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only.

Another suspect has not been charged at this time.

Griffin and Holman are scheduled for their initial arraignment hearings at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Howard County Circuit Court.
