Numerous races for offices of city mayors, city councils, boards of aldermen and other boards were decided during the Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 5.

The polls were open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in precincts of area counties and in counties throughout the state.

In the KMMO listening area, some incumbents held onto their seats, while others did not.

Also, there were several bond or tax issues for school districts, cities and road districts.
