
A Tornado Warning was issued for part of the KMMO listening area on Tuesday, April 5.
The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill issued the warning at about 7:10 p.m. for parts of Pettis and Saline Counties. Then the warning area stretched to Cooper County. The first warning was allowed to expire just before 7:45 p.m. The second warning expired just before 8:15 p.m.
There was a report of radar indicating circulation, but KMMO did not receive a report of any twister actually touching down.
The area was drenched with heavy rainfall, some hail and strong winds for part of the evening.
