A couple of street paving and parking lot bids were authorized by the Carrollton Town Council during its meeting on Monday, April 4.

According to City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell, the first street paving bid exceeded the $300,000 budget set by the council, forcing some changes to be made.

Bell said Capital Paving secured the bid for the project.

The council also approved a $47,000 bid from Capital Paving to repave the Rupe Center parking lot.
