
Larry Dwayne Cooper Jr., age 29, of rural Marshall, died Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Inurnment with military rites will follow in Miami Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Born June 25, 1992, in Columbia, MO, he was the son of Larry Dwayne Cooper Sr. and Laura Mae Arnold Cooper, who both survive of rural Marshall. Larry lived in Marshall most of his life and was a 2010 graduate of Marshall High School. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army until his discharge. Larry had previously worked at Coreslab and was currently employed at Taco Bell. He had been active in Boy Scouts when he was younger and was a lifelong avid outdoors-man.
In addition to his parents, Larry and Laura; he is survived by two children, Trenton Dwayne Cooper and Alessa Ann Cooper; his companion, Haley Brown; one sister, Kathleen Cooper of Marshall; maternal grandparents, Freda Driskell and Danny Arnold; paternal grandparents, Carol Cooper, and Larry and Linda Cooper; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Hammer; a special uncle, Larry Arnold; a special cousin, Larry Arnold II, as well as many other family members.
Larry was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Terry Driskell and maternal grandmother, Beverly Arnold; maternal great-grandparents, Junior Hammer, Bill and Naomi Arnold, and Howard and Katie Lett; paternal great-grandparents, Leola and Cedric Cooper, and Carl and Mary Vogl; an aunt, Wendy Perkins; and two best friends, Darryck Kruger and Brett Jacobson.
