Officials at a state park in an area county say a bridge is officially open for use by the public.
According to officials at Knob Noster State Park, the new Hawk Nest Bridge is officially open.
Park officials say, “Thanks to the Northern Region’s Construction Unit and the Grants, Recreation, and Interpretation Program staff for providing all the necessary resources to complete our new bridge on the Hawk Nest Trail. Volunteers and park staff put the finishing touches on the landscaping on Saturday, April 2.”
The bridge was funded through an RTP grant, and information about the grant can be found at https://mostateparks.com/page/61220/recreational-trails-program-rtp-grants?fbclid=IwAR0gDQvoFc6Yp_JWoZN_8DJr6gPWaci2x0DvWRo1HTbvoYnnxLmOLxJY1e0.
