Slater City Administrator Gene Griffith gave an update on the city’s ongoing sewer lining project during the most-recent meeting of the city council.

Griffith says plans are to line more sewers this year than last.

In other news, the council approved the annual payment to the Saline County Emergency Management Agency at more than $2,800.
