Saline County hosted a countywide cleanup event for all county residents on Saturday, April 9.

During the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, April 14, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden said more than 100 vehicles brought items to drop off at the event, which was held in the parking lot at the Saline County Fairgrounds in Marshall.

Gooden gave a big “Thank You” to the Saline County Fair Association.

Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner also said the city of Marshall provided a location to drop off paint that day, and several residents utilized that service.
