Jeffery B. Leimkuehler, age 62, of rural Slater, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Salem Evangelical Church near Saline City, with Rev. Jennifer Hudson and William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Evangelical Church Cemetery, with Derrick Thomason, Daniel Thomason, Mark Leimkuehler, Bill Leimkuehler, Jimmy Leimkuehler, and Troy Meyer serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Thomason and Larry Desmond.  Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.  Memorials are suggested the Salem Evangelical Church Cemetery.

Born January 23, 1960 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Robert and Wally Neal Leimkuehler.

He is survived by a brother, David Leimkuehler and his wife Linda of rural Gilliam; two nieces, Tiffany Mullins of Sedalia, and Miranda Leimkuehler of Slater; and several cousins.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Leimkuehler.

Mr. Leimkuehler was a member of the Salem Evangelical Church, and had served on the Cemetery Board for many years.  He was a 1979 graduate of Slater High School, and had worked at Coreslab Structures in Marshall, in addition to farming in rural Slater.
