Team members at Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park invite the public to learn primitive rope-making skills at a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 16.
According to a press release, “Back in Time, Forgotten Skills: Primitive Cordage” is the second in a series of educational workshops that allows visitors to experience some of the forgotten or lost skills of old times.
Due to the nature of the skills to be demonstrated, the workshop is limited to no more than 10 participants, with the option for a waiting list and potentially other scheduled workshops.
