
A 36-year-old Portland, Oregon, man has been charged with a couple of drug-related felonies after authorities say they located numerous drugs in his vehicle after a traffic stop on I-70 in Saline County on April 13.
According to a report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, he located 44 Ziplock-style baggies containing marijuana (weighing approximately 3.34 pounds); 116 baggies containing THC-infused gummies (weighing approximately seven pounds); 116 pre-rolled cigarettes containing suspected marijuana; and numerous other baggies containing THC-infused candies, cookies and brittle; as well as other drug-related items.
Court documents say Anthony K. Adeyemi is charged with two counts of a felony for delivery of a controlled substance and driving- and drug-related misdemeanors. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Adeyemi was arraigned on April 14. A confined-docket hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at Saline County Circuit Court.
