
The Saline County Health Department has scheduled some walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
According to health department officials, COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held the third Thursday of each month at the Malcolm Center for Student Life on the Missouri Valley College Campus in Marshall.
Health department officials say Pfizer and Moderna vaccine will be available for first and second doses, as well as booster shots.
The clinics are scheduled to run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m. each of the scheduled Thursdays- the first of which is Thursday, April 21.
Requirements for the Pfizer vaccine first booster are: anyone 12 years of age or older and five months after the completion of the primary series.
Requirements for the Moderna first booster are: anyone 18 years of age or older and five months after the completion of the primary series.
Persons are eligible for their second booster dose four months after receiving their first booster dose.
No appointment is necessary.
