The Missouri FFA Association awarded Gold Emblems to multiple chapters in the KMMO listening area during the first awards session of the 94th Missouri FFA Convention.

According to a release, this session recognized Chapter Activity Award winners, alumni scholarships, Larry Harper Young Writers and GROWMARK essay winners.

Boonville placed 5th, Sweet Springs placed 17th, Carrollton Area Career 25th, Glasgow 29th, and Brunswick 33rd of 353 FFA chapters. Only 10 percent of state chapters receive a top chapter designation each year.
Makenna Stundebeck from the Salisbury FFA chapter was named the GROWMARK essay winner.

The Missouri FFA has 25,626 members representing 353 chapters. The national organization has more than 735,000 members representing 8,817 chapters in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
