Marshall resident and parent Chris Post was at the meeting of the Marshall School Board on Wednesday, April 20, appealing to the board to restore baton twirling to competitions with the band.

Post said his older daughter Amanda Sporlenski, who coordinates the baton twirling routines for the UCM Mules, has volunteered to help out with MHS’ program.

Post made several points during his presentation, and concluded by asking the school district to just be fair.

Board President Bryon Jacques said the board will talk about it and get input from the district in order to make a decision moving forward.
