Lehe Hisle, age 88, of Columbia, died Monday, April 25, 2022 at Lenoir Woods in Columbia.

Graveside services will be Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Radar, Missouri, with Chaplain Jeffrey Sippy officiating.  Memorials are suggested to Lenoir Woods Benevolent Care Fund in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born August 17, 1933 in Niangua, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Shook Stogsdill.  On August 2, 1955 in Slater, she married William Judson Hisle, Sr., and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2003.

She is survived by a son, William J. Hisle, Jr. and his wife Julie of Topeka, Kansas; two daughters, Robin Tipton and Kristin Tipton, both of Columbia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Stogsdill and his wife Linda of Bixby, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Hisle was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbia. She was a graduate of Conway High School in Conway, Missouri, and received her degree in Nursing from General Hospital in Kansas City, where she worked for several years.  She later worked as a Registered Nurse in numerous doctors’ offices in Columbia.  She was a member of the Lutheran Womens’ Laymen League and the Vesper Guild.
