A Warsaw woman is charged with two drug-related felonies following a traffic stop in Sedalia on April 22.

According to a probable-cause statement, a Sedalia Police Department officer stopped a vehicle driven by Jayme Catherine Petterson and the passenger Larry Milks, where it was revealed Petterson was driving with a suspended license. After a search of the vehicle, the officer allegedly found about ten grams of methamphetamine, more than 22 grams of marijuana, other drug paraphernalia, and more than $5,000 in cash. Petterson initially denied knowing about the contents in the vehicle, but eventually admitted to knowing about the marijuana. Petterson also admitted to using methamphetamine.

Court documents say Petterson is charged with felonies for delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

Petterson’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
