Prom is scheduled for this Saturday in Sedalia.

According to Sedalia School District 200 officials, on Wednesday, April 27, first responders will stage a mock accident scenario at Smith-Cotton High School to emphasize the dangers of impaired and distracted driving as an awareness campaign before Prom.

This presentation is for high school juniors and seniors.

Emergency vehicles with lights and sirens going will come to the high school, but this is part of the presentation, which will last from 2 p.m. to the end of the school day.
