Bobby Joe Huff, Jr., age 57, of Slater, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his home.

Graveside services will be Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11 a.m.  at Slater City Cemetery, with Rev. Paul List officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jermie Pittman, Brad Ward, Josh Pittman, Eric Ward, Travis Brinkley, Jonathon Ward, Josh Rader, and Jeff Pittman.  Visitation will be Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.  Memorials are suggested to The Only Way Fishing & Golf Club Lake in care of the funeral home.

Born October 22, 1964 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Bobby Joe Huff, Sr. and Norvella Witcher Huff.  On February 1, 2021, after thirty years together, he married Brenda Pittman Ward, and she survives of the home.

Also surviving is a daughter, Crystal Brinkley of Marshall; three sons, Eric Ward of Sedalia, Jonathon Ward of Columbia, and Brad Ward of Slater; three grandchildren, Katherine Brinkley, Ethan Ward, and Skylar Ward. He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Jones.

Mr. Huff retired after thirty-three years of service from Northwest Community Services in Marshall.  He was a 1982 graduate of Marshall High School.  He served as President of the Board, as well as caretaker, of The Only Way Fishing & Golf Club Lake.
