Saline County Human Resources Manager Jackie Wood was at the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, April 28, and asked the commission to approve some changes to the county’s handbook.

Wood first talked about a change to a certain type of leave of absence.

Wood then said the county will go by the state’s reimbursement rates for mileage and meals.

After getting a clarification that it was state legislation approved regarding the leave of absence request, commissioners approved both updates to the handbook.
