DeFeet is holding a Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the NUCOR Pavilion on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

According to DeFeet’s website, the event will feature musical performances, visual artists, community resources, giveaways and prizes. There will also be food trucks available for guests. The event is free to the community.

DeFeet is dedicated to educating Pettis County about mental health and suicide prevention by providing training, speakers and support groups; and advocate for treatment by providing financial aid and materials to de-stigmatize mental
health issues.
