The Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works approved multiple action items in a recent meeting on April 28.

MMU General Manager Jeff Bergstrom said board accepted a bid from Elmer Hare Ford to replace two half-ton trucks totaling $39,700 each.

The current trucks have been used daily by the Electric Distribution Directors since 2006.

Bergstrom said board also approved a motion to request bids to replace the upper roof of the Wastewater treatment filter building.

The upper roof of the building is original to the 1993 expansion. The budget is set at $45,000.

In other news, the board approved the annual wage and benefit review, which includes pay and merit increase for eligible employees.
